Check-In Information
Airport Check-in
Domestic Flights: If you are checking-in at the airport for an
domestic Jet Airways flight, check-in starts 150 minutes before the departure of
your flight. The check-in counter closes 30 minutes prior to the departure time
for all class passengers. The boarding gate closes 15 minutes prior to
departure.
International Flights: For all
International Jet Airways flights, check-in starts 3 hours before the departure.
Check-in counters are closed 60 minutes prior to departure.
Kiosk Check-in
Kiosk Check-in is available to all Jet Privilege
members traveling with hand baggage only on domestic flights. You can swipe your
JP card on a kiosk at the airport and print your boarding pass using a
touch-screen. Once you have printed your boarding pass, you can directly go to
the security check. If you are returning on the same day, you can also check-in
for your return flight in one go. Kiosk check-in is available up to 45 minutes
prior to the departure of your flight. Kiosk check-in is NOT available if you
are tarveling with children or infants. Kiosk check-in is also NOT available if
you have asked for special services like wheelchair, stretcher, pets in hold
etc.
Internet check-in facility is available on all
Jet Airways domestic flights. This facility allows you to choose your seat online on
any domestic Jet Airways flight and print your Boarding Pass. If you hold a confirmed ticket, you can check-in up to
a day in advance of your departure and choose your seat online. You need to carry a photo ID with you when you report for the
security check.
Domestic Flights: Tele Check-in facility
is available for holders of Jet Privilege Platinum/Gold/Silver/Blue Plus cards.
You can Tele Check-in up to 60 minutes prior to the departure of your flight.
Once you Tele Check-in, you need to report to the airport at least 40 minutes
prior to your departure for the security check. Jet Privilege Blue Plus card
members need to collect their boarding pass 45 minutes prior to departure of
their flight.
International Flights: For all
International Jet Airways flights, Tele check-in facility can be availed up to 4
hours prior to flight departure.

City
Check-In
You can also check-in at Jet Airways city offices
24 hours in advance, and up
to 2 hours before the departure of your flight. Jet Airways City Check-in
facility is available if you are traveling with hand baggage only. Once you City
Check-in, you need to
report to the airport check-in counter 30 minutes before the departure time.
The City check-in facility is available only at Bangalore, Kolkata, Chennai,
Delhi, Indore and Mumbai. City Check-in facility is currently NOT available on
Jet Airways international flights.
Return Check-in
If you are returning on the same day or the next
day on a Jet Airways flight, you can collect your return boarding pass from your
originating airport. If you are carrying hand baggage only, you need to report
to the airport 30 minutes prior to departure of your return flight. If you are carrying
additional check-in baggage, you need to report 90 minutes prior to the
departure of the return flight.
Through Check-in
If you have a connecting onward Jet Airways flight,
domestic or international,
you can board the onward flight without checking-in again. At the origin
airport, your baggage will be checked and pre-labeled. You will be issued all
boarding passes and baggage tags up to your final destination of the partnered
airline. Your baggage will
also be through checked-in to the connecting flight. This facility is available
on all Jet Airways flights from all destinations except Agartala, Cochin, Imphal,
Jodhpur, Jorhat, Khajuraho, Kathmandu and Kuala Lumpur. The
connecting flight should be a minimum 45 minutes after your arrival.
