Check-In Information
Airport Check-in
For all IndiGo flights, check-in starts 120
minutes (2 hours) before the departure of your flight. The check-in counter
closes 30 minutes prior to the departure time for all class passengers. The
boarding gate closes 15 minutes prior to departure. If you booked your ticket
online, IndiGo asks you to present the credit card you used to book the flight
for verification during check-in. You will also be asked to present a Photo ID,
like Passport, Driving License, etc for verification. If you are traveling with
an infant, you may need to present a copy of the infant's birth certificate for
age proof during check-in.
Note: When you check-in at the airport,
IndiGo is able to provide seats with extra leg room on some flights for an extra
charge of Rs. 100 per sector. Please enquire about the
availability these seats when you check-in.
Internet Check-in
Web check-in facility is available on all IndiGo
flights. You can avail this facility if you are traveling with hand baggage only
and have no check-in baggage. This facility allows you to choose your seat
online on any IndiGo flight. You can web check-in up to 2 days in advance and not later than up to 2 hours prior to your departure. Once you have
checked-in online, you have to report for the security check 30 minutes before
departure. You need to carry a photo ID with you when you report for the
security check. If you are traveling with an infant, web check-in is not
allowed.
