Only 1 piece of cabin baggage is currently allowed on all IndiGo
flights. The weight of the cabin baggage should not exceed 8 kgs.
In addition, the sum of the length, width and height (L+W+H) of
the hand baggage should not exceed 115 cms. IndiGo recommends
that all valuable items like jewelry, cameras, cash, etc should
be carried in the cabin baggage piece. Due to current security
regulations, liquids, gels, pastes or items of similar
consistency are NOT allowed in the cabin baggage. However
prescription medicines and inhalers are allowed in the cabin
baggage, only if they are accompanied by a doctor's
prescription. Baby/Infant food is allowed. Also note that sharp
items like, scissors and pocket knives and weapons of any kind
are not allowed in the cabin baggage.
Note: Due to
airport security regulations, no cabin baggage is allowed on any
IndiGo flights from Jammu and Srinagar airports.
Checked-in Baggage Allowance
Indigo permits the following free checked-in
baggage allowance on all its flights:
Adults: 20 Kgs
Children: 20 Kgs
Infants: 0 kgs
Note: There is NO special baggage
allowance on any IndiGo flights for International passengers.
If you have more than the permitted allowance, or if your bags
exceed the permitted weight or dimensions, IndiGo will charge
you extra. Currently, IndiGo charges Rs. 70 per kg. for all
excess baggage.
