Meals
Air India (IC) is a full service airline and meals are
included in the fare. The catering onboard most Air India domestic flights is by reputed
hotel groups like the Taj Group and Ambassador Hotels. Depending on your flight
time, Air India serves Breakfast, Lunch, High Tea or Dinner on all flights. Indian
has a wide variety of multi-cuisine menu to suit the varying tastes of the local
sectors. Indian, Chinese, Continental and World Cuisine is available on various
sectors. In addition Air India can also provide specialty menus like Jain Meal
(without onion and garlic), Diet Meals, and Child Meals. You can specify a
vegetarian, non-vegetarian or any specialty meal choice at the time of booking
your ticket. For special meal choices, you need to inform Indian at least 24

Air India has introduced in-flight entertainment on its
Delhi-Mumbai flights. A selection of 5 video, 12 audio and 1 DVD
channel is currently available. On all the other sectors, apart from soft music during take-off and
landing, Air India currently does not have any electronic
entertainment options on its domestic flights. There are reports that a complete
in-flight audio and video entertainment system will be fitted on all Air India
domestic flights soon.
Magazine
Air India publishes an in-flight magazine called 'Swagat' which
stands for 'Welcome' in Hindi.
