Only 1 piece of cabin baggage weighing maximum of 7 kgs is
currently allowed on all JetLite flights. The sum of the length, width and
height (L+W+H) of the hand baggage should not exceed 115 cms. Jetlite
recommends that all valuable items like jewelry, cameras, cash, etc should only
be carried in the cabin baggage piece. Due to current security regulations,
liquids, gels, pastes or items of similar consistency are NOT allowed in the
cabin baggage. However prescription medicines and inhalers are allowed in the
cabin baggage, only if they are accompanied by a doctor's prescription.
Baby/Infant food is allowed. Also note that sharp items like, scissors and
pocket knives and weapons of any kind are not allowed in the cabin baggage.
In addition to 1 piece of cabin baggage, any ONE
of the following items are also allowed as cabin baggage:
A Laptop Bag
A handbag, or ladies purse
An overcoat wrap or a blanket
An umbrella or a walking stick
A small camera and/or a pair of binoculars
A reasonable amount of reading material for the flight
Checked-in Baggage Allowance
JetLite permits the following free
checked-in baggage allowance on all its domestic flights:
Adults: 25 Kgs
Children: 25 Kgs
Infants: 0 kgs
Jet privilege Members: There is no special baggage allowance for Jet
Privilege members traveling on Jetlite
International Passengers to/from USA and
Canada: For all JetLite passengers going to or coming from USA and Canada, 2
piece concept of check-in baggage applies. The weight of each piece should not
exceed 23 kgs.
If you have more than the permitted allowance, or if your bags
exceed the permitted weight or dimensions, JetLite
will charge you extra. The excess baggage charges per kg
are 1.5% of the full economy fare on that route.
For passengers under piece concept, Jetlite charges USD 50
for any piece of baggage that exceeds 23 kgs and is under 32 kgs.
